The Spider-verse movies are one of my favourite animated movies. The artstyle, the characters, the soundtracks and of course the classic Spider-man plot with its own twist makes these movies very enjoyable to watch.
There are currently two movies in The Spider-verse trilogy that are published, the first movie 'Into the Spider-verse' and the second movie 'Accross the Spider-verse'. In the first movie, we are introduced to Miles Morales, an ordinary high school boy attending Visions Academy. When he was hanging out with his uncle Aaron adding graffiti on the walll of a sewer, he gets bitten by a radioactive spider and it all begins from there. Due to a mahcine activated by Kingpin and Octavia, the villains, Spider-Men from other universes get sucked into Miles' reality. We follow Miles adapting to his new powers, overcoming struggles, exeriencing growth and forming new friends. In the second movie, the story develops further on Miles'developpement as the new Spider-Man. He receives an unexpected visit from an old friend from another dimension, Gwen Stacy. We then learn about a Spider Society run by Miguel Ohara where we meet more Spider-Men.
